This move marks a reunion for Boumous with Head Coach Sergio Lobera, under whose guidance he previously flourished at FC Goa and Mumbai City FC. Fans can expect a return of the creative spark Boumous is known for, having thrived in Lobera's attacking system.

He has made 133 appearances in Indian Football. Throughout his time in India, Boumous has impressed with his attacking prowess, contributing a significant 37 goals and 49 assists.
Boumous boasts an impressive trophy cabinet with 2 ISL League Shields, 2 ISL Playoff Cups, 1 Durand Cup, and 1 Super Cup as well. Individually, Boumous' talent has shone through, earning him the coveted ISL Golden Ball in the 2019-20 season, and solidifying his status as an elite midfielder.
