The AIFF has introduced the Elite Youth (U-17) League 2022-23 in two categories i.e Group B & Group C, intending to find talent for India U-17 teams.

The league will be played across two phases. the first phase is the group stage which has already started on 22nd December 2022 and continues till 5th January 2023. The second phase is the final round will take place from the 20th to the 31st of January 2023.
 
After completion of the Group Stage matches, will qualify for the Final Round of the HERO U-17 YOUTH CUP 2022-23. In the Group Stage matches, three (3) points shall be awarded for a win, one point for a draw no point for a defeat.

There will be 111 matches across 11 locations. During the tournament, 49 teams are playing which includes Odisha FC (Group-C) and Odisha FAO Academy (Group-B) from Odisha. 

Odisha FC (U-17) Group-C has been participating in the AIFF Elite Youth (U-17) league 2022-23 for the very first time with Alpha Sports Academy (Bihar), Hyderabad FC (Telangana), Techtro Swades United FC (Himachal Pradesh) and Young Heros (UP).
