Odisha FC proves to be too good for Aizawl FC as Diego, Victor, and Nandha shine bright.


In what was being pitted as a thrilling contest between Aizawl FC and Odisha FC, #TheEasternDragons secured all the points with a stunning 3-0 scoreline.
 


Odisha started the match on the front foot and was dominant from the outset. They created several opportunities in the opening minutes with Diego, Victor, and Isak leading the charge.
 


Come second-half, Diego scored a poacher's goal to put Odisha in the lead as Aizawl struggled to get the ball out of danger.
 


Aizawl tried to mount a comeback and created a few chances of their own, but the OFC's defense held firm. They were well-organized and didn't allow Aizawl to create any clear-cut chances.
 


Odisha continued to dominate the second period and doubled their lead in the 55th minute. Victor scored a wonderful goal from a slick build-up, curling the ball into the bottom corner of the net.
 


Nandha made it 3-0 in stoppage time as the winger was in the right place at the right time capitalizing on a venomous strike from Diego which forced the keeper to make a save but the rebound fell in Nandha's path who made no mistake of putting the ball in the back of the net.
 


Aniket was the Hero of the Match for his solid performance at the back.
 


Overall, it was a fantastic performance from Odisha FC, with Diego, Victor, and Nandha proving to be too good for Aizawl FC. This victory takes them to the top of the table with their final group-stage game against Hyderabad FC on the 17th of April.
