Odisha looked more lethal in the second half creating chances after chances. Javi fed a brilliant ball to Jonathas who entered the penalty area and tried to chip the ball over Gill in the 63rd minute. However, the young goalkeeper got his hand and managed to deflect the Brazilian’s shot that was on target.

Six minutes before the full-time whistle Nandhakumar Sekar created a wonderful chance from the left flank. He tried to find Jonathas with the cross which was blocked. The ball fell near the winger again and his kick for a consecutive second time took the ball out for a goal kick.
