Liridon Krasniqi joins his teammates in Goa

Odisha FC’s Asian footballer for the season – Malaysian international Liridon Krasniqi has arrived in Goa. The 29-year-old attacking midfielder, who made his international debut for Malaysia earlier this year, has come in as a part of a loan deal with Malaysian professional football Club Johor Darul Ta'zim FC.
 

Before starting off for India Liridon posted a story on Instagram where he wrote, “Today starts a new chapter. I just wanna thank God for my health and always for these new journeys and another new chance. I wish you everyone health and success in life and bright smile everyone everyday. Never give up on your dreams. Matdon is coming, be ready India.”

Liridon started his initial football career in Europe and has a unique achievement of representing three national teams. Apart from the Malaysian senior national side, he has also played for the Albanian under 21 side and Kosovo senior team.
 
Javi Hernandez was the first foreigner to join the team in Goa and apart from him, Spanish defenders – Victor Mongil and Hector Rodas are also in Goa and have started training as well.
