The Juggernauts take on Jamshedpur FC for their season opener on 11th October at the furnace.


After the club's inaugural Durand Cup campaign, where they won all 4 group-stage games without conceding once. The Juggernauts narrowly missed out on the semi-final spot after going down to Bengaluru FC in the quarter-finals.
 

Josep and his coaching staff started work early ahead of the new season and have been constantly building a competitive squad up for the new season of the Hero ISL. The club saw major Indian arrivals in the transfer window with the likes of Raynier Fernandes, Michael Soosairaj, Narender Gahlot, Denechandra Meitei, Amrinder Singh, Lalthuammawia Ralte, and Niraj Kumar bolstering the squad.

The new Hero ISL season kicked off on the 7th of October. The Juggernauts will be traveling away from home for two consecutive games against Jamshedpur FC & Mumbai City FC. 
 

Jamshedpur FC:

With Aidy Boothroyd at the helm, the Red Miners have brought in the likes of Pratik Chaudhari to add to their defense alongside Peter Hartley & Eli Sabia. Germanpreet Singh made a move from Chennaiyin FC to join the men in red, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas was another midfield addition for Jamshedpur in the transfer window. New recruit Harry Sawyer will lead the attack along with Ishan Pandita & Daniel Chima.

Odisha FC:

Odisha brought Josep Gombau back to take charge once more. The Spanish tactician tasted success in his first season at OFC and was praised for his style of play. Carlos Delgado made a comeback as the defender was Josep's first foreign signing in the transfer window. Diego Mauricio also returned to the Juggernauts after his short stint with Mumbai City FC. The Brazilian netted 12 goals and assisted 2 in his previous outing with OFC. Saul Crespo, Pedro Martin, Victor Rodriguez, and Osama Malik were also brought in to restructure the squad ahead of the new season.
