The Blasters turned the game around in the second half to complete a 2-1 win over the Kalinga Warriors in Kochi.

Ivan Vukomanovic returned to the KBFC bench after serving a 10-match suspension which made this game a highly anticipated encounter.

Odisha started the game strong and created multiple chances over the first 15 minutes. Diego Mauricio in the 16th minute neatly dribbled past Hormipam and Pritam Kotal before putting it past Sachin to hand the visitors the lead.

The Kalinga Warriors kept attacking sniffing for a chance to double their lead when Naocha handled the ball inside the box, which saw the referee point to the spot.

Diego stepped up to take the penalty but Sachin managed to guess it right and denied the Brazilian from the spot after which the Kerala custodian pulled off another save to deny Isak from the rebound.

Dimitrios was called into action in the second half by Ivan to add more potency to the Blaster's attack. A quick free-kick taken by Luna found Daisuke who put the Greek through on goal as Dimitrios made a diagonal run and finished it past Amrinder handing KBFC the equaliser.

In the 84th minute, Luna ran down the right flank and found himself in a goal-scoring position, he made no mistake and finished it off for the Blasters.
